I was working for a company located in Mississippi and was injured on the job. While unloading Sofa sleepers one fell and broke my wrist. If hand truck had been provided this would not have happened! Do you have any suggestions for legal actions? If you need more detailed information, send fax number and I will fax info to you. I was employed by Erie County for a number of years, and was injured on the job. I sustained a permanent partial disability and will be going back to the Worker's Compensation Board in the near future to establish my permanency. Because of the nature of my injury, I was unable to return to my previous job title, and my physicians suggested I undertake retraining. When I informed my employer of my status, I was told I must resign from my position. Under either Worker Compensation regulations, or under ADA laws, isn't the County, like many other employers, required to make an attempt to find employment or attempt to accommodate the injured worker? It seems a discriminatory practice to just say, ""Oh well, you were hurt. Too bad, so sad. Now resign."" I would love to pursue this matter, but I am unsure of my options.

My daughter fell out of a chair at a well known enterprize and hit her head. As a result she has a large bump on the back of her head scar tissue from a closed head injury. AT the time I was told she would be ok, but now I found out she will have to wear glasses the rest of her life and continue to suffer from migraines as a result of this. I never wanted to pursue anything but if she has to deal with these issues her entire life, if it is still possible, I would like to try to do something about it. She is only seven, she has her whole life ahead of her. I would like to know what is the statute of limitations for a medical malpractice case. I also would like to know if the injury must be catastrophic for an attorney to be willing to file a suit for me (ie death, brain injury, loss of limb, etc...)

I was injured in a work related accident that was a head/facial injury. I have been taking medication since this and am consulting with pain specialists every month. I would like to know what rights I have since this injury has totally wrecked my quality of life both physically and emotionally. Workman compensation is still paying for my medications and pain management but I receive no wages. I lived with a certain person in an abusive relationship. I left the relationship for 8 months. This person wanted to reconcile and gave me an engagement ring and asked me to marry him. I moved back into his home for almost three years. In which time the marrage never took place and this person became abusive again, and again I was forced to leave the relationship. When we had reconciled I left my current employment on his promises and now am unable to find decent employment and am in great financial hardship.

Hello! About 2 years ago I was working for a tent rental company and I injured my back on the job. I went to a chiropractor and had some x-rays done and an MRI. Well, I found out that I had 3 slipped disks in my back. The time finally came to go back to work and I obtained a release from my chropractor that all was well and I could go back. I called up my boss and told him the good news(that I may return to work) and all he said to me was I was fired and hung up the phone. Since then I have been looking for work and have been unable to find anything because nobody wants to hire me because of my prior back injury. What are are your suggestions? Do I have grounds for a lawsuite? Any kind of help would be really welcome. While serving my country i suffered a pretty serious injury which resulted in a lengthy operation and plenty of physical rehabilitation. After my surgery my condition is starting to deteriorate. Is there anything i can do is the situation is not taken care of?

I injured my lower back at work. I have been off for 2 weeks and am now released to return to work. My employer wants to file this injury under disability instead of comp. What can I do? I was injured on the job and now have subsequent conditions because of the injury, I do have legal representation, but I am very disappointed with the level of service i am receiving. Can I fire my legal team and if so how. Are there repercussions?
